A Cultural Blast

What a week! The last time I can recall being that busy for seven days straight was when I traveled from NYC to Sidney – stayed there 48 hours for a shoot – and then straight to Montreal for another job. Then the next day I was heading to Munich for more work… Although this time around it wasn’t much about traveling to different countries, it was just an absolute culture blast!

Morocco in two words:

ORGANIZED CHAOS

Revolution?

While we (Westerners) might think we are busy, I invite you to take a look at Morocco. While we mainly do work in the virtual world now, over there the labor is mostly manual. If you ask me, I think we’re living unhealthy lives. Just too much screen time. We all have personal computers and/or smartphones and therefore are unable to ever really “get off” work at the end of the day. We never fully disconnect. If technology is not part of your life, good for you. If it is: welcome to the club! Add social media on top of this and we end up staring at a screen all day. Technology has definitely revolutionized the way we live our lives, for better or for worse and Morocco is an excellent reminder of that.

Atlantic Ocean

I had not touched the water until I rented a surfboard to check out my skills on waves. The rental shop suggested to put 2 wet suits on and so I did. The water was FREEZING!

How is the food?

The Food is Cheap! And the Food is Great!

My best advise, seek for top rated restaurants directly in Google Map. I personally give reviews in the app so you might end up reading my comments in there.
